After Heights, I attended Ohio U. for a year before dropping out. I evntually returned to school in Richmond, Va. (VCU). A mere 8 years after our Heights graduation I managed to get my B.S. in 1978. I shrewdly parlayed that into a civil service job with the USPS.
My first marriage ended in 1985 and produced my oldest daughter, Gretchen, of whom I am extremely proud. I then met my current and final wife in 1989 and we married in 1991. She had a 2 year old daughter when we met, who we have raised and am also very, very proud of.
I began running in 1977 and finally took the plunge and ran a marathon in 2005 at the ripe young age of 52.
My life has been very enjoyable, although I find it a little difficult to summarize how or why in these few paragraphs.
