Joe and I were kids playing in the dirt together and shared too many good times to list. He was with the Mayfield Heights Police from 1984 to his retirement as Chief of Police in 2012. Joe was a very private person, but we remained best of friends untill his passing. He will be missed.
Sad to hear of another classmate's death. I remember Joe well. He was in my 8th and 9th grade English Class with Mrs. Ruby at Monticello. Joe was quiet, polite, handsome, and well regarded. Interesting to learn that he had become chief of police in Mayfield Heights. A challenging career in any time. Sad that that he passed away only four years into retirement. Memory eternal. Condolences to Joe's family.
